Since 2017, I’ve been providing a professional and reliable service that doggie guardians can count on.

My focus is to provide a groom which is practical for you to manage at home, whilst keeping each doggies under their anxiety threshold.

How do I do this?  Well, I

​

• insist on a free half hour consultation to meet you and your doggie

• build a positive relationship with each doggie during familiarisation sessions (even for older doggies)

• allow each doggie time to relax before we start to groom at each appointment

• give rest breaks to help each doggie relax, often enrichment activities will be used

• ensure that we introduce each new piece of equipment or element of the grooming process sensitively, using food to help counter-condition and desensitise

• teach doggies that struggle with grooming techniques that they can give permission for the groom to progress or stop

• only use restraints where absolutely necessary, preferring the doggie on the floor or low table (safety first)

• only have one doggie or family of doggies in the salon at any one time. so that your doggies has my undivided attention and doesn't need to be crated

• will work with each guardian to make sure their doggies welfare is put at the centre of each and every groom, including the most practical style, work the guardian can do at home to help, such as building on the permission based technique and advising on the best frequency of appointments.

With all of the above in mind, there may be times when your doggies groom may not be complete as I will not push them beyond their comfort zone.
